Bamboo naturally acts like a technical fiber in that it wicks sweat, does not pill, shrink or lose color like cotton.  Bamboo fabric is favored by eco friendly/sustainable designers and manufacturers because the bamboo plant is very quick growing and does not require the use of pesticides and herbicides to thrive.  And last but definitely not least its incredibly soft next to your skin....like a cloud.
